Berlin Township Permits
We have provided links for you so that you may conveniently view, save and print out the appropriate application forms required for your project. Building, Demo, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing and Heating Permits are required in Berlin Township.
Berlin Township Tax Look-up
Taxpayers are now able to look up their tax bills on the internet.
You will need to create an account to use this service. You must put the name that is on your tax bill. This service is free for taxpayer owned property.
Starting September 5, 2023 a $6.00 fee from BS&A will be charged to look up property you do not own that is located in Berlin Township. Please be advised that you will be re-directed to a website hosted by BS&A Online.
Online Payment System
For your convenience you may utilize the online payment system provided by Certified Payments to make payments to Berlin Township.
There will be a 2.5% fee per transaction or $2.00 Minimum fee.

St. Clair County Trash Pick-up
If you have large items to be picked up, please call your contracted trash company for their requirements and special pick up fees.

Dog Licensing
If you are a St. Clair County resident, you can purchase your Dog License(s) at the Berlin Township Offices.

1 Year License $12.00
3 Year License $35.00
Non-Sterilized:
1 Year License $22.00
3 Year License $65.00
Berlin Township Senior Hall Rental
Many of our residents have birthdays, showers, family reunions and anniversary parties at our Senior Hall.
Residents ONLY may rent the Hall for $125.00 with a $100.00 deposit.
A $500,000 insurance policy through your insurance company naming Berlin Township as an additional insured party is mandatory.
There will be a $25.00 fee for a reopen of the hall.
The Hall is a non-alcohol facility as of Jan. 1, 2010.
